Bad Dealership cut my seat!!

KIA just gave me a new rim and tire off another new KIA.Very glad they did not hassle me over it.Manager said that KIA--corporate--would not take the rim back and give them a new one.I say this because it looks as if the rim was scuffed/damaged while being unloaded off the truck.Also--the rotors--even with the brembo brake package are just standard rotors>I plan on upgrading the rotors I guess--I know they had to cut corners on some things--but using normal rotors with Brembo brake calipers is not a great idea--and that is why there are folks with warped rotors. It is misleading because folks assue brembos and that you can use it on a track--like a weekend event--not total race--do not do this unless you get better rotors.

but using normal rotors with Brembo brake calipers is not a great idea
I've seen pics on here (months ago, when this was being discussed before), showing "Brembo" on the rotors; and other pics with no Brembo on them, so, what's up with that? We don't know the answer. But the most likely answer is that Brembo supplies some rotors and another source takes up the slack; they look the same from the "outside". But perhaps the quality isn't the same? And it's the OE American pads that are the problem, not the rotors. This is well known.

but maybe he didn't even realize - e.g. had a knife in his back pocket
LMAO - who works on a car with a knife in their back pocket?

Better question - who does anything with a knife in their back pocket??

Had my local dealer crush my side skirt and scuff my front bumper. They also tried to charge me an hour and half for the hatch rattle.... which was tightening up the rubber bumpers.

They made it right and waved the fee, but never did the recall on my hatch. FYI loosening the rubber bumpers using common sense, takes care of the rattle.
Wow i had my hatch looked at too for the rattle, they said they recalled the upper latch module so they replaced it, now it doesn’t rattle but you have to slam it to get it to not set the ajar sensor off which is super annoying. I have an 85 Supra that’s easier to shut than my 2019 stinger

I still can’t get over how bad the dealer experience was. It’s looking like I’m going to have to take my car in for the trim warranty around the windows. I’m actually waiting until it all goes to shit because I am afraid they are only going to replace the one bad section, even though I’ve read that the entire batch was bad. I’m also going to have to drive an hour away to avoid the dealer that I took mine too last time.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
While it's a boneheaded move they damaged your seat, as long as they make it right I guess I wouldn't be too pissed off. I do have to ask though, did they tell you about it or leave you to find it?
