Does anyone know how the front dash panel comes off? I want to tackle a rattle in there.

You DONT want to go there. Ive have heard you create rattles by removing it.

I too would really like to know. There's a dead mouse in my car somewhere and I'm almost 100% sure it's in the driver side dash area. The smell is strongest when putting my nose in the fuse box. It makes driving my car so unpleasant.
