I use it for my phone. Click on the star and my phone screen comes up and I can quickly access my recent calls. But recently I've been using android auto a lot so I may reprogram it.

I set my to phone projection. Takes me to CarPlay screen. #shortcut

Yeah when I hit media it brings up Android Auto, so I use it to turn off the display. Great for nighttime driving.
