Purchased my 2019 Stinger GT AWD about a month ago.
So far I love the car, but I hate the cruise control. Mine is just the GT, so no smart cruise or anything. But when the cruise is engaged you can feel the car applying throttle or lifting off constantly. Like riding with a new driver that has a hard time maintaining a consistent speed. These throttle corrections are obviously small (never more than 1mph diff), but very noticeable to anyone who knows cars and it is driving me nuts! I have owned a lot of cars and never felt this from a cruise control system.
I have not had time to bring the car into the dealer yet, but I wanted to ask the community if anyone has felt this before?

Thanks

I have not. but a number of years back this was a thing with a few vehicles. sorry, I don't recall any solution for it. it works but bugs some people. my go to solution for a lot of these complaints is to get used to the individual feel/quirks a car might have and move on.

My 2019 GTS is similar. It'll be fine for long stretches, but add a little bit of elevation change and the cruise control gets a little choppy. Don't think there's anything to be done about it. #JustKiaThings

yep.. my 2020 indigo is the same.... if i focus on it it annoys me but it's not enough to really be an issue..

Mine is the same on a '22 GT2 AWD. Just like Jumbo Palace it seems to be when there is a small elevation change.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Just got my stinger last week and mine does it no matter the conditions when using cruise control and I don't think it is normal and should be considered a Kia thing. I had a 2012 Sportage 2.0 turbo and don't remember this and I can't say I have ever noticed it on another car and I have owned other turbos too. I was hoping to find more discussed on here about it, but I would think it isn't as common as a "kia thing" and therefore isn't something that should be considered normal and accepted as normal and I think I will definitely be having the dealership check on it.
