I am at a complete loss for words. I just bought a brand new 2022 Kia Stinger and it has headliner noise from day one. I got a "we owe" slip from the dealer when we bought it to get it fixed. 2 weeks later and dealer opened a tech line case and Kia said its normal and the dealer can do nothing about it. This is completely unacceptable. Anyone having this issue? Dealer said they have a demo and 2 other new Stingers with similar noise.

Its normal my ass, what a bunch of dumbasses. I noticed this issue when I test drove a Stinger and the sales and manager both dismissed the issue as "oh I'm sure we can get out techs to fix it" yeah right, so clueless.

You’re stuck with it. Kia still hasn't come up with a fix, and isn’t likely to at this point in the model's lifecycle.

I called Kia consumer affairs. They need 3 days to investigate the issue and will get back to me. They asked what my expectation from Kia is on the issue...umm fix the car or take it back. One thing that is on my side is that new cars provided we "we owe" slip for the noise to be fixed which they can't deliver on so maybe that will help get me out of the car. Bottom line is the noise is unacceptable. I will post a link so anyone can listen to the noise I have once I get it uploaded.

I'm having the same issue with my 2022 GT Line , which I just upgraded from a 2020 GT Line.
My 1st Stinger did not have the issues, This 2022 the sound comes and goes, maybe depending on weather conditions?
Brought it in just to fix this ( and the usual trunk lid noise, which my 2020 also had! ). Service Manager took a drive and said he could not hear anything !

I live in WI. What has to happen in my case is the interior of the car needs to be at a comfortable/normal interior temperature say 70 ish. If you jump in the car after it's been baking in the sun and test drive it the noise is very subdued. Let the AC run for 10 minutes or so and drive it and you get cringe worthy noise. The dealer 100% can duplicate it.

Appears since I am a new member I cannot insert a link to the audio track or attach the file. I will need to hang tight until that is lifted.

I bought a 22 Forte end of January and I'm now having a rattling noise up by my headliner. I thought it was my sunglasses rattling in their little compartment but there's still rattling even with the glasses removed..... Hoping the manufacturer warranty will cover it. I've only owned it for a few months...
