For $18,000. I thought they were going to chew me down and niggle away at the offer price- it wound up being the easiest sale I ever had. Just crazy, I only paid $19.5k for the car after all the fed/state rebates + $2500 in tax back in Feb.2018- it was a leftover and Toyota gave me a great deal, as the Prime’s were not moving- MSRP was just shy of $30k. I actually could have gotten it for $500 cheaper if I didn’t splurge for the body side molding and the illuminated sill plates. Absolutely astonished! Moving $15k into a 2022 AWD GT-Line in Ascot Green with the Sun-n-Sound package- flying into Chicago next Sat. to get it rather than pay the $5k markup they want within hundreds of miles of me (90 min north of NYC). Flight from Newark Intl to O’hare was $64, lolol
A couple of the other car buyers (Carvana, Vroom, AIGO) were all $1500-2k lower than CarMax.
Talk about an upgrade huh!
