Do we know which markets get the covered cup holder? Or can anybody get a price directly from Kia South Korea for the 2 parts?

We're still waiting to hear about parts and availability - and pricing...

I doubt there is a right hand drive version ... the reason the UK don’t get them is probably too expensive to mirror the whole Center console ... so no lid ... not even an optional upgrade.

Therefore I doubt very much there will be parts for a RHD version.

I did see that a guy from Mexico said his car had cup holder covers. So if You are in the US can you import from there?

@ImportSharMike: after a look at this thread you may come to the conclusion, that there might be a business opportunity evolving for your shop.

A bunch of Stinger owners have shown interest in modifying their "open console" with a cover, European style.
KIA offers that interior design in Korea and some European countries. It appears, 2 OEM parts are required to accomplish this modification.

Could you help out on this one?

I just heard the same thing from another party in Korea. Apparently, Mobis Korea (Hyundai Mobis) is manufacturing the part. I'll hear more about it in a few days.

One of the buyers came here to recommend it.
I'm not here to sell the product on the site.
I visited to get various information.
Also, Korean owners are trying to inform you a lot of information they are doing.
For 3.3GT aluminum console
We have placed orders with Hyundai Mobis in Korea.
We will arrive on Monday.
It is supposed to be sold on eBay.

I'm coming into this a bit late , but what is he removal process looking like , cant be too difficult . I would be intersted in doing this conversion but also wrapping the surface , I havent scratched it yet , but the aluminum is quite soft and vulnerable

Whether piano black or aluminum, the surfaces are delicate. Wrapping it is an excellent idea. Particularly if you do it before conversion. I'll take it to my "wrapping artist", see what he recommends.

I've done plenty of vinyl wraps , looking at the pieces in the post above it would be a simple job , just need to determine which 3M vinyl , they have a great assortment in multitudes of colors and patterns , and its durable as hell !

I would stay with brushed aluminum/stainless steel, of course, it's print, but so is laminate....

And then I saw the car in the rearview and was a bit disappointed. Tonight I got mail from Korea and saw the solution and strongly suggested jonkihong to become a member here.
I think things are falling into place now.

I'm with you ! the console issue is my bigger priority , The fog light issue comes down to design and functionality for me , there are so many aftermarket strip lighting kits out there and everyone seems to have one and they all look the same and they are all on lower end cars . My Sorento has the ice cube fogs that not only work but look great , thats kind of what I'm looking for IF at all ............. i just dont think strip lights are the answer for the non fogs on the GT , IMO .................

Decorating your car is your personality.
In a line that does not violate the law
If you make your car look cool
It will be envious as a man.
It is a very good vehicle for kia stinger.
It is very high in Korea, and it is getting good evaluation.

I would be very interested in covering up the cup holders, that was the first thing I looked at in the interior when I picked it up. Looks so much better with the cover.
