Could it be my spark plugs? Are they old?

Do you use octane boosters?
I've used an e30 mixture once with the jb4 and set up I currently have & Chevron Techron 12 oz. Fuel System Cleaner once also about a month or two ago.

also, what should I remove from my car before going to the dealer? I haven't used my jb4 for 4 months now. so that's not installed at the moment but should I be fine with my intakes, occ, and blow-off valves?

also I appreciate the help yall

QUESTION. being that this is the first car that I've bought. and it being somewhat new. how do I use warranty lolololl? I have an appointment for tomorrow. I'm assuming it works just with my vin alone?

Depends mainly on if the car is original owner or sold to another. The 10yr/100K drivetrain warranty only applies to original owners (I understand that subsequent owners can buy into an extended drivetrain warranty). The 5yr/60K bumper to bumper warranty only applies to original owners (but this, too, can be purchased). The VIN is updated to show current warranty status. When you get service or a repair done, you don't have to do a thing: the warranty kicks in (unless a shyster is playing with your rights).

well, thankfully they're all cool people! didn't seem like my intakes or blow-off valves mattered to them.

looks like the problem I was having was cylinder 2 was running pretty rich due to my intakes. about to go pick up the car once I'm done with work. also ordered up some parts for my recalls. I guess it's the fuze box and they have a new one for the fuel pump. never heard anything about the fuel pump but seems like I'm getting a new one for free so I'm not complaining.

How did your intakes affect cylinder #2?

Bro that’s what I said. Anyways they ended up breaking the cover for the key hole on my csr. They denied it so I bought the part and was told I need to go paint it.

But besides that it was dope! Dude recommended I get a jb4 or lozic tune on the car. Just remove it before I show up for a warranty call snd they wouldn’t say anything about it

Got my car inspected. Got recommended to either get a tune or take the intakes off tho

I knew they would blame something from your mods. What if you had your stock intake? Where would they blame the fault? Oh maybe your bov. lol

If it was the intake it would have affected the entire bank not one cylinder. Dude is just pulling shit out of the air. But at least you got it fixed?

Running rich on cylinder #2 would point me more to an ignition issue in cylinder 2 though. Like a loose connection on the coil.

As soon as I figure out which one exactly is #2 I will give it a look! Hopefully it’s not the hard to real one but Yesh i was thinking the same honestly.

Also down below are the pictures of what they broke off and denied

Denied it on what cause? If it was on there when u dropped off the car and broken when u picked it up, they need to fix that. No way I'd let that slide. That's not even a warranty claim. That's dealership damage.

The left air filter does not feed the left bank.. same for the right.

They are completely mixed before even going throught the intercooler.

You're right, forgot to factor in the intercooler. That makes it even less likely to affect a single cylinder though.

Yup, it's 100% not related to any single cylinder issue.

They denied it saying they didn’t even work around that area or need to check it. Didn’t really know what to do in the moment so I ended up buying the part. And was told I need to go get it painted to match the car.

For the other posts. Not sure if they fixed it or what but the same light ended up coming up that same day but had then turned off from my dash. Going to check the plug and coil later today or tomorrow

This thread is confusing.

Did the dealer fix/repair anything related to your issue?

Or did they just blame the aftermarket intakes and say, that's how it is!

If they put your car on a hoist - it's plausible that they openned the door into the hoist and the door handle key cover smacked the hoist - breaking it off. (Totally guess)

They denied never using the driver's door? Dubious claim, how would they move the car then?

All they told me was that the issue is my intakes and to get a tune. Besides that I have no idea
