I have tried to search online but I didn’t get much information about this.
Would these two cars be in the same category for comparison?
Considering they can be quite similarly priced over here.
Thanks.

There is a good YouTube video about this, and how I discovered this car as a possibility.

This car is a fastback with better tech and a better ride and transmission, vs a sedan with a bit more power. The Q50 is dated in comparison, but still a lovely car.

My first car was a Nissan. I'm sad where they are at.

Thanks for video. After what the video concluded I think Stinger is still a better car over all.
I really like how Stinger elicits the excitement not just from the performance but also the design itself.
Q50s Red Sport may have more horses but the look itself to me it’s just too subdued.

I have a buddy with a red sport who trashed me for getting a Stinger. And then he sat in it and was seriously impressed. Plus the Stinger has substantially more interior room.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

The Infiniti Q50 Red Sport was my top choice, until I drove the Stinger GT2.

The Q50 was a very nice, but small and dated sport sedan. The interior was cramped in the front and back, and was overall unimpressive. It just felt like an upgraded luxury Altima...but when I sat in a GT2 wGrey Nappa leather interior it felt like I was in an Audi S5/S7.:D

Then I drove the Stinger and even though the 0-60 & 1/4m are very similar the Stinger felt faster. The torque just comes on quicker and makes the car more responsive.

I’m sooo glad I got the GT2 instead and haven’t looked back, except at the Q50s in my rear view mirror!:thumbup:

All that HP for the Q50 RS does little when the transmission sucks when it comes to harnessing that power.

Not that the Stinger GT couldn't use a (wet) DCT, but its slush-box does a better job than the Q50's.
