Color Combos for Initial Stinger Shipments

Well the ghost grey ceramic color for the GT2 also has the red interior on the build page, but I think that's the only color available if I'm remembering correctly so if you wanted that color with black interior you would be out of luck.

I was told that they've received a number of inquiries regarding several colors availability; the person I spoke to cited orange or yellow to which I asked if it was sunset yellow and she said that was one of them. So I'm glad other people are making Kia US aware that we are interested in other colors. I'm sure there's been a number of people that have complained about the lack of chroma blue as I remember that was an issue brought up a lot in the past.

Right. They put that one on display all across the nation, and we can't get it.

That's not a bad idea I did mention that there is a huge online community that has been following this car/release.

They have nowhere near the color combinations of BMW, Merc, or Audi. Therefore competing with those cars was clearly untrue.

Yep that's the primary thing I asked about and was told you can only get what's available per the US website as that would be all we're getting.

It looks like Mexico has even more limited colors than the U.S. I just checked because If importing becomes an option. I really want RWD instead of AWD. There is one section about transmission choice that got me excited until I realized there were no options under manual transmission.

I'm with @Taimaishoo on this. It certainly makes sense that they can only get what's been built so far - which is more or less what the district whateveryoucallit said - in not the same words. "built so far" - That's what he SHOULD have said - but they don't want you to wait and buy the car you really want. They want you to buy the car they want to sell you - NOW. Don't worry. The Kia Stinger is going to come in all different color combinations just like everything else does.

I think you and I are agreeing. I do believe that everything that is offered on the website will eventually come here. What it seems @Kia Stinger is saying is that there will be more beyond what's currently offered in the build a Stinger options and I don't think that's going to be the case. Otherwise, they could show everything that will be available in the future. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I thought that's what he was saying.

The Ceramic Silver with Red Napa comes out around the 21st. Confirmed with 2 dealers.

All of the blue GT2s on cars.com are currently listed as black interior, even though the configurator only offers the light gray option. Then again, not a single one of these cars has actual photos of the cars (even on the dealership websites)...they're all just stock website images...so this could be poor inventory data about vehicles that haven't been delivered yet. Regardless, something is amiss, and it doesn't surprise me one bit.

Has anyone seen the Silky Silver in person? I currently own a Cadenza in satin metallic and wonder how my color compares to silky silver.

I really want a GT2 in Panthera Metal and Grey interior. Not available now. The closest is Silver. If it only comes with a red interior, i will wait and hope more colors are coming soon. I would think if potential customers refuse to accept and purchase the color combinations available, that Kia Corporate would notice and do something about it to avoid losing sales. Hell, I would wait and get a G70 with the 3.3 if that is the case.

We can always hope that they might do this, but they're not making many GT2s as it is so it might be take it or leave it. Maybe with the 2019 model they'll make some changes.

My local dealer knows exactly what I want. Time will tell if I can get it. They told me they ordered a Silver with Grey interior for me. I would take it if it comes in that way.
