Sorry if this is repeated i just got a 2018 gt2 and really want to buy a CIA to hear the sound of the turbo and maybe get a little bit more power? But a friend was telling me that i should get a tunning kit too to help with fuel problems with switching to more airflow? So my question is do i need to invest into a tuning kit(jb4) with cold air intakes or will my car run fine just with installing CIA. Thinking about gettting the wrinkle red injen cia

Yes, no danger in running the intakes at all, tons of guys on here are running them for years without any issues, myself included. If you want a big bump in power the JB4 will give you that but you'll need to swap your spark plugs. If you're happy with the power you have now and just want some extra sound intakes are just what the doctor ordered.

you can literally run the turbos open with no air box on at all, just the open turbos and the car will perform just fine. Ask me how I know. You really get a lot of noise that way lol. As for an intake, I recommend one with a big filter and one that faces the actual air flow in the car. Injen is pretty good. And some intake snorkels, trust me they actually do something. And welcome to the club, you can learn a lot here about your car if you spend some time reading.
