Code P0374

I just popped a code, P0374. It seems to be one of a few sensors. I was wandering if anybody had a similar problem with light the optical sensor, cam sensor, crank sensor? Does anybody have any information they could share with me? Car won't go into 4th gear. When it goes into 3rd it jerks real hard and tries to go to 5th and revs spinning and no movement. Revs spinning because my foot is on the gas trying to get it to go.

JB4, and JB4 wouldn't read the code either. Had to use a OB2 reader to get the P0374. I've disabled the JB4 but still get code. Left the battery unhooked and still am getting the code. Any help? Thx

I have nothing. just hoping that activity on the thread attracts attention from those who know. Ima bone stock boy.

Check closely for obvious physical damage. Rodent eating some wires somewhere?

Update on code P0374
Unfortunately it is the transmission! The code of death! Multiple thousands of $ to replace.

you don't have over 100,000 miles do you? this will be on kia it's all drivetrain warranty.
