Hi,

Looking to retire my trusty '07 Subaru Liberty STi (an Australian release) and after borrowing a mate's Stinger it ticks so many boxes. I'm interested in what the 2021 refresh may offer, but seems a good time to strike on the previous model if there are no drastic engine changes.

I've already spotted some great tips on mild modifications to start with - no doubt it will be an interesting after market scene over the next few years.

Cheers

Welcome mate, you've come to the right place for Stinger information and mods.
It's a great car and loaded with lots of bang for bucks. Had mine for just on two years and can honestly say it's the best car I've owned.
With overall car sales down something like 48% you should be able to pick up a good buy.

Welcome to the hive! lots of great info here in the various forums.

Welcome to the forum VEDI. Nice mate lending you his Stinger. Not sure I would let anyone drive mine.

Welcome!

Keep in mind that the changes (mainly engines) that apply for LHD markets may not necessarily apply to Australia and other RHD markets.

The report of the 3.3TT V6 staying, but w/ a (slight) bump in power (due to new exhaust system) is from an Australian publication.

So yeah, waiting to see what the changes are for the 2021MY and if not compelling enough to wait (and pay more $$), should be able to get a 2020MY at a nice discount.

Hi, @VEDI missed your intro. Welcome to the forum.

I know I wouldn't. The only other person to get behind the wheel of my Stinger is my wife, and she's only done that maybe three times, and the last time was well over a year ago. Nobody's even asked me for a spin behind the wheel. I think that I give off vibes: "Don't even go there!" Hah.
