Recently had my check electronic suspension light come on, got the code “C2224:13 Right rear (or rear) actuator”. I’m guessing it’s referring to the shock but does it mean the shock is no good? Or could this just be a bad sensor not sending the right information to the shock?
 
The actuator is the little little sideways cylinder shown here - integrated into the shock (not sold separately).

There is a 2 pin connector - you could check that for cleanliness/corrosion/rodent damage.

So a faulty g sensor could be what’s causing the actuator to not function? I’d rather buy a g sensor instead of a new shock absorber haha

It could , but if that was the case, then most likely you would get a code that calls for a faulty G sensor! And that code would likely tell you which G sensor.
 
Okay yeah that’s true, I ordered a g-sensor and will try that first and see what it coughs up. Do you happen to know if I will need to calibrate my new one or is it plug and play?

Plug n play, is what I'm told. (95% confidence). I did not replace one myself.

Guess you will find out for sure shortly
 
Forgot to come back and update what has happened since the last post.
So I replaced the RR G Sensor and it didn’t fix anything, so after everything I had done which is; checked fuses, checked all connectors and wiring for damage or corrosion. After the G sensor did nothing I went and ordered a replacement shock absorber and after installing and reconnecting wires the warning is gone. Replacing the shock was not hard at all, 3 bolts hold it to the car and some elbow grease to wiggle it out.
