Changing the style of exhaust tip

I keep looking at the tips on these cars and Im wondering if changing a quad tip to a dual would make it look good. You would have to cut that plastic piece in the middle of the dual tips to pull ot off. Any thoughts?

I've been side-working on exhaust tip ideas. However, pretty much all of them require dremeling the rear fascia... which means it's a one-way trip Unless, of course, you just dremel out the entire area and make it open so you can fit something to the actual ends of the exhaust pipes rather than mounted to the fascia.

See how this looks? Imagine cutting out that divider between the tips and putting one tip in that forms with that bumber.
