Changing taillights turn signal from yellow to red

Had anyone change the rear yellow turn signal to red??
 
Why?

I have the rear sequential led. They are red, wanna match.

Might not pass inspection in your state if you're able to figure out how to switch them.
Also, on a safety note, there's been a few studies conducted mostly by NHTSA stating you have a higher chance of getting rear ended if you have red blinkers as opposed to amber. Kinda interesting.

Yea it’s illegal but don’t care.
I have blacked out the front amber headlight 20% tint
