Before I change my hood emblem, I was wondering if there might be a problem doing this on a leased vehicle if I were to decide to turn it back in at the end of the term. Any thoughts, comments, etc?

Thanks,

George

Spit in your palm; slap your other hand and see; if the spit hits you, then the dealer will nail you for the badge swap. If not, then you're good. Hah. Kia dealerships are a crap shoot. Ask them first, that's the only way. This is not a case of, "it is easier to obtain forgiveness than permission".

Thanks Merlin. That's a very good point. They should be able to provide a definitive answer unlike performance mods.

worst case scenario, you buy another kia badge for $50 and put it on before turning in the lease

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I deliberated over such a long time that I ended up with three hood emblems. I hope to go with the round "E" you posted above and not mess up the paint with the removal of the original. I want to do this once and not have to think about going back although if i had to, any paint damage would be covered by the original badge.

I have a lease and even before taking position, I had ordered the Korean badges... I mean that is how the car is made over there. Anyway, told my sales manager that I was going to go swap them out and she was as excited as I was.
Go for it !
you might as well do what you want with the car, it is yours during the lease, I did not ask them before any of my mods and every time I go see them, they enjoy seeing whats new.
