Seeking How To CF wrap center console

Hi all,

I was able to nicely wrap the mail aluminium part of the center console however there is a small U shaped piece at the back of the armrest that is separate from the main unit.

Anyone have any idea how to remove this? I assume there are clips holding it in place however I am not sure on the direction to pull.

Bonus points if you can tell me how to remove the sliding door at the front. Thanks !

Will you clear coat the wrap or leave it as is?. Looks pretty good from the picture and I’m no fan of cf wrap.

Leave as is. It's pretty durable as is (at least for now).

That back piece is hard to pop off. I also have wrapped that piece and am looking to take the front piece and back off. Your wrap looks good btw. What did you use? I used vivid CF interior only. As for the back piece, you might be better off taking that whole back console piece off to really what the deal is. At least thats what I'm considering doing. Keep us posted what you do. I just finished up my air vents the other day in CF. Love it

The sliding tray cover needs to be removed with the entire unit. Look at the Qi wireless tray install diy instructions.

All good I figured out how to take out the front center thing around a/c controls but how do you get the small part off the back of the center console? Thanks

You have to pull the whole center console out.
