I'm hoping someone can help me out with this CEL I got tonight. Used an ODB2 scanner at AutoZone to to get the diagnostic code - says 'Fuel Level Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance'. No clue what that means. I saw when I came home my gas tank cover was open but not sure if that happened when the ODB2 scanner was diagnosing. Any thoughts?

What year is your car? Wasnt't there a recall on parts of the fuel system on pre 2021 models? Could it have been somebody siphoned some fuel from your car and did not secure the cap? Gas prices are high.

Mine is a 2018. I don't have any open recalls on my car so don't think that's it. And I doubt any was siphoned - it was driving just fine, pulled in the in-laws driveway to drop something off, and then a few minutes later after I left it started driving funny and I saw the light on.

'Driving funny' ? You didn't accidentally put diesel in it?

I should specify - when I went to throttle it on a green light, the response was pretty dampened. That's when I happened to notice the CEL on the dash.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

If it's not the gas cap and assuming the cleared code comes back, maybe try some dry gas in case there was water/'bad gas' last time you filled up.
