Caught on Tape

People with cars like those should use public transport and have their cars crushed.

^^^Some truly fubar situations too: a homeless person walking on top of a backfill manages to collapse a concrete retaining wall section, smashing in the passenger door of a parked car. Someone runs over a large section of a blown tire, which flips up and smashes the windshield of the dashcam car. What I find interesting is how long the dashcam cars remain in close proximity to overloaded vehicles, as if waiting for the crap to fall off.

I twice in 6 months had debris hit the front of a prior car [both times was home construction material]. One resulted in almost $3000 in cosmetic damage and the other an annoyance pushed in fog light. This was in NY. In Nevada, airborne rocks are the most common hazard. Dash cam footage resulted in the $3000 being covered under comprehensive. The insurance company immediately tried to push it through as collision too. Big deductible difference and comprehensive doesn't follow your insurance accident record.

same. I'm not sure what was on the road but it ended up ripping the shield under my motor clean off. then a second time something I drove over hit the end of my right side rockers which broke the bottom but thankfully cant see it so I leave it alone. a week ago some metal cube came at me flying on the freeway. thankfully it hit my windshield and only left a small chip on my windshield right where it hit. no "cracks" just a chip

People are engaging in increasingly risky behavior these days. I don't get these folks.

It's a permission issue. Under video details change visibility options.

(I see them now: didn't do anything at my end.)

Both of these illustrate why I follow the dictum, "never rush/push a yellow". Always give yourself plenty of extra time to check both directions more than once. If you're launching from a green light, this is doubly imperative in case someone is not only pushing the yellow, but running the red.

Didn't get any footage of it but some.. Enlightened and highly cultered individuals in a rust bucket Dakota had mattresses in the bed held by nothing but faith. Said faith ran out and one of them just flew out of the truck that was doing about 60, flew between the lanes and got wrapped up around the rear wheel of a SUV. Credit to them, they managed to get it pulled over in traffic without causing an accident. The jackasses in the truck? Took off. If my fuel light wasn't on I'd have gone after them, but figured calling the cops and reporting everything would have to do.

Not sure what that's got to do with Kia Stingers but it's a great endorsement of the 2nd amendment.

The vehicle being chased in the video was a kia.

And yes, the 2nd amendment is needed. How else you going to revolt against a tyrannical government - if you wish to discuss further, start a new thread.
