Catless primary and secondarys

I see so many on here going catless with the secondary downpipes and even a few going catless on the primary downpipes. Silly question maybe, but is everyone doing the install themselves? I'm in MN and maybe my google searching skills aren't up to par but I can't find any shops around that would install catless primary or secondary pipes. I'm mostly interested in the secondarys so there'd still be 2 cats on but one shop said it still wouldn't matter.

Secondary downpipes are real easy to replace, if you have a jacks. (Around 2 hours). Primaries...i wouldn't even try to do that on my own. Too many "broken stud" stories.

Where in MN are you? I would try some of the local performance shops in the cites, most of them would be ok with that install for you. Otherwise yes, try doing it yourself. I could probably even help you out if you need it. I am in MPLS.

Amen to that advice my guy, 100%. Pay a shop to do it, that way if they break it, they buy the new studs.

Yeah I might have to keep calling around or attempt it myself. I might have to hit you up. I’m in the south metro area (Rosemount).
