Yeah, I don't think the car is that heavy either for it's size. It's right about 4000 lbs with all options. Between that, the suspension designed for spirited cruising with it's dual rate springs, the car may give the impression of being heavy with its initial lean in the turns but as the stiffer part of the spring is used in the turn, the car is said to feel fine.
I thought this was an interesting review because the reviewer discussed all negative comments that KIA generally gets in the beginning and after reviewing the car, came to a very good conclusion. These preconceived notions is precisely what KIA is trying to change world wide, particularly in the US.
