Has anyone else experienced this when your car is being filled up with gas? I always put 93 octane in and while the car is being filled up the entire engine shudders for about 1-2 seconds. It happens frequently and at various gas stations. No other issues with the car. Just curious if anyone else experienced this.

You fill up with the engine RUNNING?! Don't do that. All it takes is one stuck dispensing nozzle, and you have gas flowing under your car. At that point it's just a crap shoot whether or not you go up in flames.

Do not fill your car while its running unless you're in a F1 or Nascar race in pit lane. Not safe.

Maybe it’s your cars way of reminding you that you shouldn’t fill up your car while it’s running.

I saw a guy on base filling up while his engine was running AND he was talking on the phone. The signs AT THE PUMP say turn off the engine and no cell phones. I had to go inside and talk to the people working there.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
What is with this place, people filling up running cars, braking with 2 feet, saying to active launch control during slow cornering...are Stinger owners all car noobs or something. Ive never seen stuff like this on other car forums.

The fuel system is sealed, it can vent excess pressure if needed but the engine will have issues if there is a leak preventing normal pressurization. You're basically breaking that seal and expecting the engine to run as normal.

(in addition to obvious safety issues.)

Different issue......the automatic gear does not want to shift to the race-mode when I push the lever towards the “R”.
I get a warning on the screen to apply brakes when shifting to “R” but what’s the use of braking while you want to go racing??

Oh my, lol

When I'm driving on the freeway in reverse, how do I switch the view mode from overhead 360 view to just the back view? I can't see far enough to avoid traffic without swerving at the last second.

This was before I got my 2019 Stinger GT2 AWD
