Car pulling to the right

Hi,

My car has been pulling to the right from the very beginning - not very hard but if I let the steering wheel go for 1-2 seconds, the car will drive to the neighboring lane.
Somehow, I’ve got used to it but I feel it’s getting worse recently and decided to do something with that. The car has just 35.000 km on the odo.

The suspension has been inspected , the wheel alignment has been made (the steering wheel angle sensor has been calibrated as well) - I have even installed SuperPro "Strut Bar To Chassis Mount Bush Kit" but no change.
It is the same for different wheel (different rims) sets (Summer and Winter).
Any ideas the problem might be?

I checked another Stinger, we have in the company, and it drives perfectly straight.

Sounds like your wheels/tires need to be balanced. Alignment does nothing for this.

Already did this.. nothing's changed - it happens on different wheel sets (I have separate ones : Summer and Winter - both sets are balanced).
Breaking is perfectly straight and it is not a problem when I keep the steering wheel but when I let it go for a while the car starts pulling to the right. On the same roads, another Stinger doesn't have this problem.

I would take it to whomever did the balance and tell them about the problem.

could totally be alignment if the toe is off that would cause it to pull either direction, I would ask them to re check the alignment

thanks. I took the car to a local service facility which is very experienced (they tune and repair cars) and they couldn't find the cause. The same was happening with the original wheels with Continental tires as well as with the aftermarket wheels (with new Michelin tires) - I've them balanced many times.
They suggested that I should check the differential system at the dealership (the car is still under warranty). I have an appointment next month but I am not sure they will be going to solve it.

Exactly the problem I've been having for a couple of years. I've exhausted all avenues. The superpro kit didn't fix for me either.

Yep… I will give it one more try next week. Another alignment shop and they will work on the steering wheel angle sensor as well. I will update afterwards

A couple of thoughts.

First, when you get the alignment done, ask them to align with slightly more caster on the right front wheel. This caster lead would tend to make the car steer left and it is a common practise to do them to compensate for road crown that can make cars pull right.

The other thought is the front or rear sub-frame may off slightly (it is bolted to the body). This can be checked by a collision repair shop that does frame straightening.

@GT Elite hit it on the head.

Bad Castor is what causes pulling not toe. Bad toe would show up firstly with a crooked steering wheel, then with a diving or lifting front end if bad enough and uneven tire wear if not corrected.

Just a weird thought... could it be the lane centering camera that needs adjustment? Try driving with all of the electronic aides off to see if still pulling. Might just be a ghost in the computer...

The lane assist is off and the same thing happens… hopefully another alignment shop will help. We will see

GT Elite is thinking the same, check the subframe alignment. Also check the frame end bushing on the front/rear lower control arm (the one with the bend). Loosen it then re-torque with the wheels on the ground

Also check the caliper on the offending side, could be dragging a little.
