Anyone have a car cover they love? Looking for suggestions for a cover to use mostly indoors/garage, breathable, soft lining, and water repellant? Doesn't have to be water proof. Went on Amazon and carcover.com and not sure about the options, so thought I'd ask the community. Would rather have a fitted cover versus a "bag" design. Thanks for any suggestions!

Bumping this for you, and curious: Does "fitted" mean custom cut for Stinger, or is it still something more generic than that?

Yes fitted or cut for a sports sedan.

I'm also looking for a quality cover for my Stinger. It needs to fit properly, but it need not be "custom" made. This would be for outside parking in my driveway. It needs to breath (not waterproof but water resistant) and be of sufficient quality to not damage the surface of the car. There are so many options on the internet, I don't know where to start. Who makes quality car covers that meet these needs?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I called CoverCraft today to check on a Stinger design. They will see if a cover pattern is in the works as a pattern but they can also provide a sheet to submit dimensions for a custom cover. Rep indicated no real difference in $$$. So hopefully I’ll see an email from them today to confirm status.

I said folks are looking for covers...

I couldn't wait for a Stinger specific cover to make it to market, so I purchased a cover from the-cover-store.com. For $220 I purchased the Ultima generic cover that was listed as fitting the Stinger. Shipping was faster than expected. Product arrived in perfect condition. The cover fits my Stinger quite well. My only concern is the antenna bump which is not accounted for by the cover. The material is nice looking, thick, strong, and feels good. The cover has no liner so my Stinger's finish is at the mercy of the fabric. So far no damage detected. So for the first few weeks, I am very satisfied with the cover. Will update this forum if I find problems.

I purchased one from car cover.com and absolutely love it. The key to having and using a car cover is it needs to protect what’s underneath as best as possible. My years of using covers exposed a big problem with most - their ability to stay on the car in windy conditions. With bungee cord modifications, I have been able to keep my cars covered in even fairly high winds (~35 Kent gusts). My heavy duty cover from car cover.com fits the car perfectly and stays down in wind thus far. It’s weatherproof and soft to the cars exterior. Only 2 drawbacks; it’s bulky/heavy so therefore a bit of a space hog when stowed..... and the plastic clips will break eventually. Once again, bungee mod (which I like better anyway). db

Man , you are slick tight in that garage ! well done !!My wife thinks out of site is right and loads up our garage with all sorts of her junk !

WestcoastGT: it’s a small house with a small garage! Tight fit for 2 cars.... but I got it done. Much else in there - and the “other car” gets the great outdoors!

IMG_0607.webp GenesisG70: ‘pirate themed” is a carryover from my many years of running Halloween haunted homes.... so it more or less stuck. And I had such a good time with it, figured I may as well just run with it. db
