Cap missing above mirror...does anybody know where I can find one?

Still kind of new to this forum, but stumped trying to find a part for my 2021 GT1.

Above the rear view mirror there is a cap missing that hides the wires for the front camera. I've looked at diagrams and cannot seem to find this as an individual part. If anyone can help me with either a part number (so I can order from Kia) or a boneyard that has Stinger parts so I can get a replacement, I would appreciate it.

Well, meanwhile, there is always black Gorilla tape, almost as thick as the panel itself. Ha hah. It would look a darn sight better than that gaping wire filled hole.

Yep. I've got the Gorilla tape hanging in the pegboard. I was just hoping for the real deal but you're right about that gaping hole

I have the panel, AND Gorilla tape across it, because the stupid panel keeps falling out. Three days, max, and then I'll find it in the cup holder or on the floor or seat - once it was between the seat and center console. So, getting the panel might not work for you by itself either. The Gorilla tape works to keep the panel in place.

On the GT1 the panel stays put. There are likely no wires behind it because the car doesn't have rain sensing wipers or any other wired doodads. The Premium, however, has rain sensing wipers and the hole is filled with wires like in your picture. There's too much crammed in there and the panel gets pushed out. That's my theory anyway.

This is the part number. But I suggest getting the whole cover.

@Snicklefritz it sounds like your cover isn’t on properly and causing the little cover to fall. I’ve not had to replace my cover in at least 4 years. I did screw up the larger one while I was messing around with my rear view mirror. Replaced that cover and it hasn’t been a problem since.

Thanks for both of these responses! Mine is a GT1 with the rain sensing wipers, which is probably why you see a bigger wire bundle. I might but the part just so I can say I did, but the Gorilla tape is likely going to be the end all for this as a cover.
