Last spring I was at a red light on a quiet rainy night (comfort mode), and got some fun wheel spin punching it off the line. I didn't think the AWD could do that, but haven't been able to do it again since.
Mulling it over I figured my best bet was to wait for some heavy rain and set the car up to try it gain. Put on the smaller rims and tires (225/40/18 square), thinking a smaller diameter and narrower rears would increase the odds.
Finally got an absolute downpour the other day and took the car down to an empty farm road; Sport mode, ESC + TCS off, Launch control ready, 2.5k, wipers barely keepin up with the downpour... still hooks up and takes off with no spin.
I can't figure it out, maybe it was too warm out? 15c (59f). Really thought I had it in the bag this time. I did it without trying the 1st time and now it's bugging me, any advice?
