CANBUS CONTROL MODULE FROM K8?

Has anyone on here fitted this to a GT RWD? Does it function as described?

Every post I've seen about it has been full of questions for installation. People have had audio installation shops give up on it.

Yeah, I’m not bad with this kind wire in but pretty sure if I stuff up warranty for whole car out the door!

Yup, and yup. I thoroughly enjoy it.
All of my cheap circuit thieves worked on the first try, but one of my butt crimps was bad. Took a while to track it down.

So you just used butt crimps instead of cutting and joining?

Depended on the circuit.
Most of them I used the snap-on circuit thieves. The type that use spade connectors, not the more common double-pinch type.
Some of them I cut and re-joined with butt connectors. I like to use uninsulated solid butt connectors then double wall shrink. I generally crimp when working in the car, solder if I'm building something on the bench.

Nice! I would like these options in the stinger but afraid to ruin the warranty so may leave it alone.
