After seeing the pictures yesterday and finding out the price, I'm almost positive I'll be getting the 2021 Stinger. Of course, as always, we all want a better deal. Is it possible to negotiate a deal or since the car is brand new, the prices are locked in? In other words, is MSRP the price ill be paying for the 2021? Thank you:)

Yes you absolutely will be able to. With Kia you often just need to wait beyond the first few weeks until the 1st or 2nd of the new month when programs and lease cash kick in. Only very high demand models like the Telluride are selling for MSRP or above. Once a few of the 2021 Stingers hit the lot, you will be able to negotiate. Remember to make sure they are not just applying backend Kia incentive money, but also discounting significantly from MSRP. Hoping the US spec info will be available soon. Good luck!

If you can do without the updates (and they do look to be very minor), you will probably be able to get an even better deal on a 2020 model.

If you're in Canada like your profile flag shows than you probably wont get much of a deal. The US market gets some great deals but here in Canada they don't move much off msrp (we already pay a ton less than the us market even at full msrp) and even less likely on a brand new refreshed model.

According to an article posted on our Aussie Stinger face group, there will be two new exterior packages on offer, depending on the market.
In world wide markets there is a " Dark Package " that includes a gloss black diffuser and black muffler tips. The stinger emblem on the tail gate will also be black.
You guys in North America, will be offered a " Black Package " which includes 19inch matt black wheels, a new trunk lid lip spoiler, and blacked out mirror caps and side fender trim.
I'm so hoping if this comes into being that over here we will be able to purchase the lip spoiler as an accessory from Kia and have it installed at the service departments, if it's factory made the fit and colour etc should be spot on.

Hopefully they added some camber links this time round!

not to be a killjoy, but according to motor trend, the 2021 model is a carryover:

But what's in store for the U.S. market? A Kia spokesperson told us that the Stinger will be a carry-over for 2021, meaning it won't have any of these updates. We expect these changes to make it to U.S. cars for the 2022 model year.

they could be wrong, though

The fact that Kia Canada announced a 2021 Stinger GTS Without facelift is really pointing toward this... so the face lift might be a 2022 but come earlier in the year...

You can easily get 10% off MSRP in Canada.

I'm sure it varies by province but you won't be getting that deal on the east coast unless it's a special promo (covid) or a clearout of a 1-2 year old car. You think you'll be able to walk in and get 10% off MSRP on a refreshed car that just came out? I'd like to see that...

Absolutely. Why would you need to wait for a clear-out to get 10% off the car? I got just over 10% (talking all in after tax vs all in after tax prices) off my 2019 without really any issue. Wast not a clearance and there were no promos at the time.

You get 4-5k Kia rebate off if you take regular dealer financing (cash sales) and than you ca get 2-3k from the dealer out of his benefit for a 2020. Cash sale deal will probable be very low on the 2021 so maybe 2-3k plus the same 2-3k from the dealer. Assuming 2021 price is increased to 53k, I would be happy paying 47k + taxes.

Because every Province is different, it would be like trying to compare the east coast used car market to Quebec's. I just checked quickly and my province has 6 available Stingers, your province has 40 available.

Life if short if you are not committing a financial mistake and can afford the car just buy it shop around sure you can get a discount, these are not overpriced exclusive German cars or collective cars. Car is amazing you will love it, very refined.

Found this: hxxps://www.kia.ca/stinger-neon-orange

So besides the colour.. There isn't much of a difference between the 2020 and 2021 :/

Welcome to the forum. My 2018 will always be the car I liked when I bought it. Waiting is for immortals.

It's true. In Ontario, I am currently working on a +10% discount on a 2020 but that does include their current promos. I was originally going for a new/oldstock 2019 for $41,500 CAD (+taxes) but I heard the 2020 had LSD which is the reason I found myself here.

I'm looking forward to ownership and adding mods found here.

I really don't understand why people who don't know how to negotiate come on here and are so adamant that these cars can't be bought for far less than they think.

You know you can just address me directly. The OP is asking about the 2021 which he believed would be the refreshed model which we now know is false and wont actually make it to Canada until 2022. I dont doubt that deals can be had in Canada under the right circumstances, clearouts, incentives, demos, supply demand etc. but I stand firm on the fact that it depends on large number of factors with market supply demand being a huge one.

In my province you're lucky to have more than 1 stinger per dealer and the dealers seem to like to have the cars around as they attract attention on the lot. Currently here in Nova Scotia all dealers have a total of 6 Stinger across the entire province available for sale. Haggling and getting a big discount off msrp when the refreshed model is released will not be an easy feat in this province.

In the provinces with larger cities like BC, Ontario and Quebec eith much higher inventory I'm sure deals can be had, but I dont believe for a second that any dealer in my province is going to agree to 10% off the refreshed model when it becomes available until it's been on the lot for 10 or more months. One of the dealers here still have a 2019 Stinger GT limited listed at 52,800, it's like they dont even want to sell them around here.
