Can somebody confirm 0-60 in 6 sec for 2.0T?

감사합니다

I'm just waiting for some warm, dry weather here to go to town with my Gyeon products. After thorough prep, will do three or four coats of Gyeon's Q2 Mohs ceramic coating.

By the way, any sightings of Stingers in K-Dramas yet? Definitely the right car for the protagonist-hero character!
There were few appearances in dramas indeed!
However myself not being a drama expert cannot tell you in which one(s).

I can confirm that the 2.0 RWD and AWD have launch control. Launch control procedure is
1. Sport Mode
2. Traction and stability off
3. Mash brake pedal
4. Floor gas pedal
5. You will hear a ding and launch will be active (you will see it com up on the driver screen). Let go of the brakes at ~2k rpms and off you go.

***With RWD, your window is more like 2 seconds until she starts going into a nice smokey burnout***

Good stuff, I thought the 2.0 didn’t have it. Can’t wait to try it out. Cheers!

Not sure if I did something wrong but followed the steps and nothing. It just stayed at 2000rpm.

Try it again with the same procedure. Make sure you are in sport mode and BOTH traction and stability is turned OFF (hold the traction button on for about 10 seconds). Stomp on the brake and hold it to the floor. Floor the gas and the tach should stay around 2k. There should be a screen that pops up and tells you launch is activated.

I didn’t hold the tracktion control button down for any period of time. I just turned it off, I’ll try again. Maybe It’s not on the floor base model?

Ok, it worked. Definitely better than just a dead stop and floor it launch. No smokey brunout though.

For the record, smokey burnouts and 2.0's are gonna happen in the same sentence.

where is this video you speak of....

ya need to agree now....btw.

Stay in the burnout for about three seconds then begin to feather off the brake but keep it floored.

No, I know how to do a burnout...normally. But any time I've ever tried with the Stinger the computer pulls the power. Even with the nannies disabled.

You and Torq are the only Stingers I've ever seen achieve a proper burnout.

I don’t think you can just sit and burn the tires. You definitely have to slowly roll off and it just stays spinning.

ya ever hear of youtube???insta gram blows.......kidding.

Gotcha, thanks.

We had nice cool weather today. I went to my favorite spot off track after work and it spun all the way through third gear. It was a good one, I regret not going back for a pic of my work.
