I need to turn in my Optima lease in September. I read that the Stinger won't be in showrooms until somewhere between October and December. And that's if nothing goes wrong between now and then. Would it be possible to extend my lease a few months if needed? Would a dealer do that if I'm buying my next car from them?

I suspect you can, but this seems like more of a question for the leasing company, which I'm guessing is Kia's financial arm.

It's a great question but I have a feeling they won't do this. I never asked myself but Hej is right - it's something the leasing company would need to answer. I think I remember reading another question like this somewhere years ago - and for some reason the leasing company would not extend the lease. But it's definitely worth a try. Ask! Maybe somebody will pop in here with experience being in your situation...

You will have to check with dealer now, and see if you can extend your lease few months to get the Stinger. I know Ford allows you to do this if your staying with their brand.

That's what I was hoping. If I were to stay with the brand maybe they'd help me out. Or perhaps let me rent something temporarily. I don't know. I'll be there for an oil change soon so I'll find out. Thanks to Sal and Hej as well!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
