In all serousness....there has to be something back there .....what would a fuel pump go on auto like that?...although the gt has a lot more going on in the rear quarters than the base model.

I’ve never heard anything about this, maybe get the battery checked it’s in the boot.

Sounds like a win, win, too me.....It has been noted by other car enthusiasts, the main reason bmw mounted the battery in the boot was for weight disbursement ....they were so mindful of the location; they would place the battery opposite the driver on the diagonal in the rear......now that's thinking.
