I’m buying a used JB4. Is there anything I should be looking for? What missing parts to look for? It’s a local deal, my son’s friends dad. Any help would be appreciated?

I’ve got the JB4 and plan to install later tonite. Since it’s been disconnected from a vehicle, will it revert back to map1? Like it’s starting all over again?

Just connected it and the car would not start. Kinda stumbled but wouldn’t run. And could not connect to Bluetooth module. Not sure what it could be. Said Bluetooth not detected

You should check if the connections are broken; if you have access to it, open the enclosure and check for water damage.
Buying a used JB4 forfeits your warranty with BMS and limits your support.
If you are getting it for an excellent price, it's worth the risk. If you only save $100, you are better off getting a new one with a 5-year warranty and support.

It was $350 w the Bluetooth. I got it running and JB4 support even got back to me on Memorial Day to help me connect to Bluetooth. It was worth it. Lol
