Given this time of the year & most dealers don’t want to be stuck with 2019 builds you are in an excellent position to drive away in a new GT at bargain pricing.I am in the exact position as the OP. What kind of price should I be paying ? @Cashie If you don't mind can you share with us the price you paid ?
Doing this right now and it doesn't seem like dealers want to budge on 2019 build / MY19 prices that are listed on carsales. There are a couple of black ones I'm looking at in VIC and they're listed at $60,200 and $60,888 but dealers aren't willing to discount any further.Given this time of the year & most dealers don’t want to be stuck with 2019 builds you are in an excellent position to drive away in a new GT at bargain pricing.
Your best option is to negotiate with change over price eg. work out what you want to pay after trade in if applicable.
Work out all the options/accessories you want with the car & then set your max. spend then go low in your first offer & work from there.
Anything under $61k sounds a good price IMO, but stand strong, while you have the money you have the power, they may start chasing you 2nd Jan onwards.Doing this right now and it doesn't seem like dealers want to budge on 2019 build / MY19 prices that are listed on carsales. I will be adding the bi-modal exhaust and a couple of extras which come up to around $4,000 on top of the list price.

The prices being held firm may also be an impact of the new cars being held up and delayed in Singapore over the Stink bug contamination.
Asking Cashie in Western Australia may give a false impression as W.A. prices are traditionally more expensive. (No offence Cashie)
I paid AU $63,958.00 - CK MY20 GT Neon Orange with Bi-modal Exhaust System, Metallic Paint & Window Tint, (including dealer delivery) from John Hughes Kia in PerthI’m starting to look at buying a Stinger GT.
Still weighing up used vs a new one.
If I go used, anything I need to be aware of?
I know there’s been one or two updates since release.

Excellent news, glad your happy, once they know your a serious buyer & you play hardball they will very rarely let you walk...good job.So 2 hours after I posted here I rang up again to negotiate further and managed to get them to drop around $3,000. Contract signed. Looks like I'm getting me a Stinger.![]()
