• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Has anyone had to buy a replacement Key and Fob for their Stinger? My Demo was missing it's second key and I'm keen to work out the cheapest and easiest way to get a replacement.

Make the dealer supply you one, your supposed to get two, doesn’t cost to ask.

Yes, I have also done that, just sussing out how expensive they are in case it becomes too much of a hassle.. either way I know I'm going to need to go to a dealer to get it coded.

eBay, buy direct from South Korea cheaper option, you could also get an E Badged one as well.

Yes I agree. Why pay for something that should have been provided by the dealer. Can't imagine they would be too cheap.

Not from Aussie Dealer they won’t, eg: I purchased 4 Genuine TPMS off eBay from Sth Korea delivered including GST for AU$124.00, I rang my local dealer & was quoted $180.00 each inc. GST that’s $720.00 for 4 WTF!

That's part of "the Australia tax". The local dealership parts business is a rort for all brands here.

Back when I had the VW Bora, I paid AUD$120 for six coil packs shipped from the US to my door in less than a week. The local pricing was $120 per pair (so $360 for the set) and a 4-6 week delay to receive them.

Subaru wasn't much better. $800 for a primary O2 sensor (designed by Bosch as a consumable item with a 50,000km life expectancy) from Subaru (or $680 with trade discount) who claim it should last the lifetime of the car, or ~$200 shipped to my door from Partsouq.
