So I hit a damn big piece of diamond plate sheet metal that was in the highway, ruined my bumper cover but the radar and rest of the car is fine
So my deductible is 500
I bought the car a month ago, haven’t even put my CI or JB4 on it yet

Guys how much is it REALLY to get a new one installed and painted ?
Do they come prepainted
I see a YouTube video of a guy taking one off and it’s really easy like a 15 mins job

I don’t know whether to try and find a shop and cut a deal, go to progressives recommend shop and pay the 500 or what my options are

Mods I know this has been brought up before but it’s been a Long time since it’s Been discussed and I need some real feedback from the guys in here

Done properly, the fenders and hood will be blended with the bumper cover spray job. I just had my RR door repaired, and the shop had to remove the front door handle and blend onto the RF door. I think your looking at over a thousand to paint the new cover including the install of all the bumper cover stuff, sensors, grilles.

The insurance company is giving me the option to get a check or take it to their shop and pay the 500 deductible
