So I drive a 2019 GT AWD , running on map 3, have the brake snip mod, when I launch my car with the mod on the Trac control cuts the power on launch or so I think it the Trac control. I'm wondering what's going on bcz a buddy has the same thing in his GT2 and he's spins all his tires and works just fine.

Are you turning TC off?

Just to be clear, are you holding down the traction button until there is a second notification that traction/stability control has been disabled? This takes about 5 seconds holding the button down continuously. There is an initial notification that comes up after a second or 2, but you have to keep holding the button down to disable traction/stability control as much as the vehicle will allow.

Yes I aware of that, and yes I'm doing that excatly. I just don't know why it's cutting the power when I launch under boost

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Where do you live?
What's the weather like?
Street conditions?
Tire sizes?

I live in MN and drive a GT AWD. This time of year I experience power cuts from time to time, and that is on a stock vehicle. Mostly this happens when accelerating through a corner, thanks to the open diff in the rear.

Yes, I know it's warm up enough bcz I do the regular launch control and it works just fine, then when I flip the switch and launch under boost. When my tires cherp or spin just the slightest it cuts the power

Try it with just TC disabled, not the full SC and TC both.

Should have gotten the Canadians version . They have LSD with AWD

Not that I'm aware of. Only AWD Stingers with LSD are the GTS, which I haven't seen one in Canada yet. All AWD are otherwise open diff with brake based "differentials."

The G70 can have AWD with a LSD diff though.

I don't have much evidence to support this other than forum posts, but it almost seems like some Stingers have more sensitive stability control than other. My Stinger with AWD and all assists off would still pull throttle under hard tight cornering, it would literally cut all throttle if the back end kicked out at all. You might have one of these "sensitive" ones?

Um I'm going by what the other Canadian said.
The GT2 AWD (called the "GT Limited" in Canada) has the LSD (Limited Slip Differential) (Limited Slip Differential) rear.

Canadian cars do not have limited slip diff. The are just called "limited" models.

I guess I was misled. That won't be fair if you get an LSD (Limited Slip Differential) and we don't.

Canadians already get the Stinger for a smoking price compared to the USA (when exchange rate is considered), so an LSD on top would have been icing on the cake!

We still get a few features the USA doesn't as well...lol!

Enjoy your icing my friend .....enjoy it :) :) Not sure why everyone thinks we DON'T get LSD, when we do. Straight off the spec sheets and Kia Canada brochure (post above). I also am mystified though (pleasantly), why many other regions do not get LSD with AWD, but we do as part of the upper package.

We do get it for a crazy good price compared to the US. Although, the incentives in the US are more than we can get here, so once you start haggling, I suspect folks in the US can get it for much better than MSRP
