Hello All:

Dealership is recommending a "brake fluid flush" at 30K miles and a "fuel tune". Sounds fishy to me and nothing mentioned of this in the owners mannual.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Andre

Did they inspect it and note something was wrong?
I would love to know what abnormal observation they made regarding the brake fluid

Fuel tune?

No idea what a fuel tune is, but brake fluid every 2-3 years is reasonable. Especially if driven hard and/or in humid environment.

You can get a motive power bleeder and do it yourself.

I change the brake fluid in my cars every two years, except when I was doing solo competition and lapping days. Then I changed it once a year, regardless of mileage. This is because brake fluid becomes contaminated with water and can result in corrosion issues and degraded performance.

how old is the car?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Direct injected engines need cleaning but much later. Preventive maintenance on the valves needs to start well before 30,000 miles. Best bet at this point is to pay a show tp walnut blast them someday (like after 50,000+ miles) or when the engine shows signs of running inefficiently.

Google "direct injection engine cleaning" to learn more.

The dealer is selling you snake oil in both suggested services. Neither service will hurt the vehicle (in theory, but having any dealer touch the car increases the chances of them screwing something up), but are entirely unnecessary and not required by warranty.

Thanks all for your suggestions!
