Brake Caliper Color on New GT

It looks like Flowbucket's account is US based, so there's no way his could be confused with a GT-Line unless he went north across the border to purchase from a Canadian dealer. If this post is legit, seek out the advice of a lawyer ASAP.
The US flag only represents where he posted from ie IP address , when you travel and post the country flag will appear ................you'll see lots of Mexican flags etc from US or Canadian members posting while on vacation , you can disable the feature as well .

Oh I see, that makes sense. Well either way, I hope we get to hear back from OP about the situation.

Context: we originally were driving a fully option loaded premium but I decided that for the same amount of money I'd want the 3.3 and not a 2.0 and was willing to give up a lot of the optional tech.View attachment 26999

Did you ever figure out what was going on with your car and having all of the 2.0t parts installed on it? Or did you realize you erroneously bought a 2.0t and that's what you traded for the GT? Is the picture in your avatar your current car?

y'all were right I was just too embarrassed to admit it on the earlier thread. Looooong story but essentially I showed up on the lot wanting to drive a GT. He initally let me test drive a GT2 fully loaded, and I said this is sweet, but I can't afford that. I'd like to drive a 'base' GT. He brought around the car from my profile (haven't switched the picture). and I said awesome let's get to work. He heard base and brought around a base/premium trim. I was careless in reviewing the paperwork b/c the $ tag was about what I expected to pay and I was just excited to have my own after waiting for so long. After y'all helped me with the boxes under the hood to be able to differentiate, I went back to the dealership and explained and they were nice enough to help me out switching the cars. (Because I'm just a dumb kid). A lot more went into that but I do actually have a GT now 100% and will fix my picture when I have fully moved on from my shame, until then I'm keeping it as a reminder.

One of those things you can look back on and get a good laugh about...one day.

Hey, at least you didn't have to bring it to them for a driver's seat replacement. :poop::D

Glad to see you were able to get the one you wanted and that the dealer cooperated as well.

Keep that pic as a memory. The 3.3L is definitely the bomb. But you're a braver (more generous) man than I am, letting your wife drive it!? ;) So far my wife has been behind the wheel three brief times in fifteen months: and I have been in the RR seat watching her every move each time. :P

The base GT comes with more items than most people want/need. The 9 speaker sound system is great and is more than adequate. Also, I sat in a 2.0 model with a sunroof and the loss of headroom was unacceptable.

The base GT works for me, enjoy your Stinger.

Yeah I'm very happy. It is just pure joy driving it, and I'm coming from a 2017 Cadenza that was already a very stable drive. Thank you!

Glad you got it worked out and even more glad you came back to let us know the end of the story.

You don't run into many dealers that are willing to swap out a car like that.

I'm glad it worked out for you!

Yeah, they were pretty understanding, luckily it was within a week and it wasn't me realizing that 3-4 months later (that might have been a different situation).

And today my new front E badge showed up, along with the wheel caps and stinger lettering for the back.

Thats great ! Congratulations ,
