Borla Will changing my exhaust to the Borla void my warranty?

The answer is we don’t actually know. Many many variables. BUT typically if the emissions is not altered typically will have no affect on warranty

Ok thanks. If you hear anything more. Please update . Appreciate the response.

It won’t in the US because of US law. The dealer would have to prove the exhaust caused the failure here. No clue about where you are from.

The flag under his name is Jamaican. But the location services for the site have been off before.

Yeah I'm from Jamaica, but we aren't too "3rd world" with warranties so I'm hoping it's along the same guidelines. Thanks much

Oh I wasn’t trying to diss Jamaica. The reason the warranty is like this in the US is because of a law. The warranties can be a little different in each state here so I’d do some research on the applicable law in Jamaica.

Haha nah man no offense taken at all. Im on the same page as you. Jamaica is backward in so many things its nice when we are up to date on things.

Technically aftermarket exhaust won’t void warranty however my experience with Kia indicates they are looking for excuses to void warranty coverage.

One might be able to argue non oem exhaust or intake might lean out fuel air mixture if any engine troubles occur. Unlikely but Someone in Kia dealer could try to argue this.

Welcome yardie! You would want to check with the dealer in Jamaica on how they handle things there with regards to the warranty. They might be different than how things are handles here in the states.
