3.3TT Borla ordered from Khartunerz. Install tips?

Finally decided to pull the trigger this morning, hopefully he gets it out today I should be installing it Thursday morning if all goes well. Any tips from folks who installed the system before?

Find a way to lift up the car to a reasonable working height; full lift, Quickjacks, tall ramps. Your back with thank you for not laying on concrete under this low car all day.

The install itself is pretty straight forward. Make sure the pipes are fit over each other well, make sure nothing is touching the underbody, and tighten down the band clamps.

Tip: use some foaming hand soap to make the removal and install of the rubber hangers and sliding of the pipes much easier. It's better than using WD-40 or a lubricant b/c it won't degrade the rubber, is water soluble, and dries/burns off without harm.

Go to Home Depot or similar and get an angle adapter for your impact wrench to remove the existing flange bolts on the stock exhaust.

Got busy so stopped and had a local shop install while Busy working.
It’s not obnoxiously loud in any way...it does drone a bit, but very little. Surprised, It SNARLS between full throttle shifts, barks really...unexpected add. There are decal burbles but not loud. It’s fun. It’s a really good sound. I am very pleased for sure. Not nearly as loud as expected. It’s not faster really that I could tell, but didn’t expect it too be. Love it, love it

Dope the sound only gets better with time as the pipes get “seasoned”.
Idk if it’s the ARK downpipes, but I can sometimes get a pop out of mine every now and again at WOT.

I just got tips put on my Borla and the drone is GONE. However if you want it loud just press the gas and you have the sound.

What tips did you get? I am thinking of getting a Borla and definitely do not want any drone.

None right now. I’m content with the car. Bit loud in comfort or eco as it is a bit drawn out l, but in sport it’s brilliant in around town, brilliant and not at all too loud. Very much considering no further exhaust changes going forward
