If you remove the outer tail light housing you should be able to gently pry them off. I haven't done it but from schematics I've seen it looks like it should work.

To install, you need to remove the inner lining ((there are 4 10mm bolts you need to remove after you take out the floor cover and spare tire cover) and tail light. Then there are three screws holding each side in. After you remove the standard reflectors, install the new body-color painted pieces...

Finally put these in and it wasnt that bad. I was more worried about breaking clips and tabs. Theres 4 10mm screws and all are tabs. The black goo under the weather strips is no joke lol. The passenger side had a module I had to unbolt to access the 3 little screws holding the reflectors. I'll post some day time pics later.
