People don't understand that the "cloud" services all have a cost. It varies, but usually it involves giving something up.

Does anyone still install/use MS Office using a perpetual license? Most are subscription based.

I'm still quite happy with my MS Office 2010 licensed version. lol.

There will probably be people coming up with hacks to bypass the "pay-as-you-heat" and all the other paid options since the hardware is already installed.

Pretty soon we'll get a message pop up on the screen in the middle of a collision that says "please insert credit card to enable air bag deployment."
