Are bms intakes worth it or should i just buy k&n drop ins?

Depends what you're looking for. You should have better gains with the BMS intakes and you'll get a lot more turbo noise with them but with the K&N drop ins you'll likely feel little to no difference in both power and noise.

AEM is a better choice than K&N for a drop in filter, FYI.
You want part #'s 28-50067 and 28-50068

One opinion to answer your question. I had dropins and went with BMS intakes and really prefer the intakes. They look good and sound great! No objective data to measure performance one vs the other but the fun factor is worth it to me!

Intakes all the way. I went with injen mainly cuz it looks bad ass

Is AEM better cause it's dry? ease of use? or other reasons?

BMS is so easy to install. No need to cut hoses or swap hoses.

I love my BMS intakes. Noises are great...install was easy. Only "issue" is that it is tight with the engine support braces.

At least the filter won’t be moving much.

I ended up buying the bms intakes as i have a jb4 and i feel im leaving a bit of power on the table due to restriction on stock air boxes

Great choice
