Those are nice! Specific for Stingers?

Thats what it says but who knows with eBay...

Good find. I like them but probably much cheaper to get your own powder coated

Just had my tips powdercoated black.

Found these on eBay doing some late-night searching... I like them but not enough to pay $500... I think these would look great with a gloss black STINGER emblem on the back. The OEM chrome tips look out of place to me being the only chrome on the car.

They are nice ... but powder coating would be my last choice for this mod. I'd go diy, with a spray can of engine paint or something similar, and save about $490 dollars too.
Removing the tips from the car is not hard either, but it does require dropping the mufflers to do it.

Powder coating around me was like $90

That's pretty good! I was quoted 350 so I decided to paint them myself. 25 bucks for materials and a couple hours of on/off work.

I painted mine as well , the key is to sand them aggressively with fine paper , and let them dry thoroughly between coats .....tips.webp

Those look awesome, what paint did you end up using?
Thanks , I used a high heat , Can Tire , it is a dark metallic charcoal , they still look great , easy to clean too !

Finally got around to painting the tips this weekend, and 3M'd the reflectors while I was waiting on the paint to dry. Think it turned out pretty good (and the car definitely needs a bath, that's next on the to do list).

Also, no idea how anyone managed to get the tips off without dropping the mufflers. Do some models not have those plate things on the exhaust?

You all that got it done for around $80-$90, did that include them taking the tips off for you or did you take them off yourself for them? If the latter, is it difficult to remove?
