Black Chrome?

Anyone else not a fan of our Stingers' black chrome trim? I just find that it is exceedingly difficult to keep clean, often looks "oily" and really shows fingerprints & smudges.

Any window cleaner, windex, etc and a microfiber cloth cleans the black chrome with ease.

Found window cleaner worked quite well. However, I am getting clear wrap and ceramic coating on the car, including the mirrors, so the black chome will have no issues going forward.

Window cleaner might take wax off or possibly other coatings. Use a spray detailer and microfiber cloth. I use Maguires but any will work without removing the wax.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Since Calgary has made it illegal to wash your car in the driveway ...
I'm not sure how i'd cope with that............
I'd love to be able to wash the car at home on the weekends, but I understand the reasoning behind it. Unlike a conventional sewer, Calgary's storm drains don't go through any waste processing of any kind - they channel runoff from the streets directly through to the river that runs through the city - and every driveway drains into the street. Soap and other products can be deadly to the fish and the river ecosystem.

The upside is I've never looked into these waterless wash/wax products before, and I'm really impressed with the results - much faster than going through the traditional multi-step wash, rinse, dry and wax cycle, and it keeps the car looking great!

Just picked up my car from the detailer. The XPel clear wrap is amazing on the black chrome! No more smudges or spots. Also, had ceramic pro coating applied to all paint, wheels, glass, calipers and suspension parts. Bugs and road grime just wipe off. They don't stick or leave a mark. Will be interesting to see what happens when it rains.
