MY BLACK CHROME FROM THE PART OF MY 2020 KIA STINGER IS FADING AWAY, BURNING OFF WHATEVER. I HAVE FULL WARRANTY ON IT BEFORE TAKING IT TO GET IT FIXED, DOES ANYONE ELSE ALSO HAVE THIS ISSUE ???

Howdy. You join and shout in five minutes: if you searched the forum, you'd see conversations about the dark chrome discoloring: with this one exception: yours is unique to the front grille trim: everyone else's issue (I have this in a minor way too) is the six window trim pieces. And yes, you're covered up to 36 months. I'm going to hazard a guess that you got some kind of chemical reaction going on there. But Kia will likely replace those pieces.

NICE TO HEAR‼️ and i also have the same faded spots in all of my window trims and most of the metal trims in the back. i honestly was thinking about getting another kia but i consider this bad quality control :(

The chemical reaction to weathering (sustained hot sun) is not to be discounted. If you're doing something that precipitates this, it can be as bad as flaking that you can dislodge with your fingernails (worst case). The solutions are: rubbing/polishing the discoloration out and then sealing/waxing; wrapping; spray painting; replacement.

It happened by itself naturally, i tried some metal polish i have that also works on chrome as well as some canaruba wax i have and it didn't come off, i think it just cause of the weather. i honestly don't wanna mess with it i'd rather let kia do that i have to go in anyways to replace my junction box. :)
