Hope everyone is doing well these days. Thought I would "take a moment and introduce myself" as the pop-up suggest... alot (never seen such persistence). Brandon here from Alabama. New to the Stinger world but not to the KIA or Hyundai brand. Been eyeing one since 2017. I finally managed to afford a 2020 Stinger 2.0. Absolutely loving it. Appreciate all the info everyone has posted on here, it has been a treasure trove of learning materials. Also, thanks for the online store (already rebadged from tip to tail).

I got the pearl white. Haven't been getting much attention at the moment. Have been hiding her in the garage until I can get the front wrapped in ppf. Where I live the front will look like Swiss cheese from rocks flying on the interstate.

Yeah, I have the same in the front. I think you can do a ceramic coating over the PPF also to have extra protection.

Welcome and congrats Brandon. Rock chips are a curse no matter where you live. The more heavy vehicles, the more chance of damage.

Many thanks Nasscar. Yep I agree on rock chips. Unfortunately Alabama doesn't explicitly require a tarp to cover a haulers load... wish they did.

yep PPF is a must for our cars especially due to the design of the front bumper

I liked the armor (bug deflector) as well. When I saw it on other Stingers I immediately ordered one for myself. Have changed out all the badges with K badges from the store here. Also got the felt covers for the doors and glove box. Mud guards on way. The PPF will be the last item only because it took a month to get an appointment... then I can hide her away in the garage never to see the sunlight again. Of course I would polish daily and read Pearl bedtime stories.

Last act of the day, wash the car? I do that. Sometimes it is full dark, and so I have one side of the car lit by the carport floods, and the other side in almost total gloom. This is a frequent winter condition, when I refuse to go to bed while my car is filthy from driving around in the weather.
