Hey fellow forum members.

I am having a very hard time determining if I should restore my 19" Work VS-XXN wheels and get spacers to fit the stinger. The wheels are in pretty bad shape as one of my tires blew on my previous car while on the highway and I was on one of the rims for a good 5 to 10 seconds. There are curb rashes and a slight bend on the wheel of the blown tire and curb rashes on the other 3. It pains me because these wheels when new are about 4 grand+ for the set. Restoration will cost approx $150-$200 per wheel. What are your thoughts on this guys? I feel that it's such a waste to have these sit in the garage as these are very high quality wheels and they would look pretty good on the stinger. I attached a stock photo for reference when these are in new condition.

I guess in short, should I restore and use them or try to sell them as is?

Not sure what you’re asking exactly but it seems to me that fixing them would be the best approach regardless of whether you plan to use them or sell them.

They are definitely good looking rims.

Thanks, I updated the post to be more clear. Just not sure if fixing and selling is a good idea since it's a niche market and I may not recover the cost of restoring the wheels.

Fix them, either way you go will be a win win

Fix them then decide.

You're not going to be able to use them or sell them as they sit, and that's a lot of money to have sitting around depreciating..

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I agree with the fixing comments for all the reasons stated above but I’m not sure I’d put them on the Stinger. I love the wheels themselves, I just think the gold centres might jar with ghost grey unless you have other gold accents on the car.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I'll see how much it will cost to restore, versus getting replacement lips on the wheels. Thank god it's a 3 piece so I can remove the lip and put on fresh ones. Maybe slowly have this done over winter and have them ready to sell/mount by summer.
