I've done a-lot of research on the best sounding exhausts for the 2.0t, but sadly i keep seeing so many mixed reviews. I was interested in buying the the JUN BL EVC exhaust but someone is saying it sounds like a lawnmower at low rpm's but from watching the video I actually think it looks pretty nice. I'm looking to potentially purchase a JB4, HKS plugs, and injen intake to see how much power i can get out of my 2.0. There's also the ark grip exhaust, magnaflow, and a couple others iv'e been considering. If anyone else has a similar set up please help me out im begging you lmao.

From all aftermarket exhaust systems that i saw, the best sounding is still stock one. But that's just me.

I had a magnaflow on my 2.0 and eventually got it to sound pretty good with some modification, but it still had some unwanted noise (not necessarily drone, but noise nevertheless). I decided to go back to stock but since I got rid of the OEM exhaust I looked around and found a local guy selling an OEM GT exhaust and picked it up and took it to the muffler shop to try to make it work. They actually chopped off a couple feet off the end of the dual connectors on the OEM GT and welded on the Y connector from the magnaflow (that they chopped of of it) and installed mostly the full GT catback exhaust. I got to say is sounds perfect. It's has more balls than the stock exhaust without any unwanted noise of aftermarket systems. It's perfectly quiet in the lower rpms and has a nice rumble in the higher rpms. The magnaflows were loud as heck revving the motor in a tunnel which is fine if you're 17 years old but it's not the attention I wanted at 47, and I eventually had to admit it that in the lower revs when the engine is lugging the magnaflows has a fart can sound from the outside. The GT OEM eliminates all of that bad sound.

So you bought a 3.3 exhaust and had it modified for the 2.0? I’m considering this

I think what he means is the GT line, stock 2.0. He cut the muffler off the stock system he bought and replaced the magnaflow mufflers but maintained the rest of the Magnaflow catback.

Hm maybe I misunderstood. It seems like he only used the aftermarket Y pipe for the OEM GT exhaust

You might be right, it was a hard read.
